A California born girl who grew up in the sweet south, Taylor Edwards, is bringing a little something different to country music. The country/pop hybrid has stories to tell and she'd prefer doing that with a guitar in her hand.
After hitting a few million views on YouTube as a high schooler in Bentonville, AR, Taylor decided to make the move to Nashville, TN in 2012 to further her artistry as well as study songwriting at Belmont University.
In March of 2015, Taylor was featured on the CW’s “Hart of Dixie” with her version of Sugarland’s “Little Miss” rounding out the series finale of the show. Fast forward a few months to May of 2015, when Taylor becomes the first winner of the Grammy U #SongwritingShowdown. With over 100 songs entered, TE’s song “Play Ya” earned her the opening spot at Nashville’s Grammy Block Party featuring acts such as Hunter Hayes, LeAnn Womack, and Meghan Trainor.
The social media savvy 22 year old is excited to continue sharing her music with her multitude of online “frans”. Graduating Belmont University in May 2016, Taylor has found a sound of her own and is eager to showcase it to the world.
