A California born girl who grew up in the south, Taylor Edwards, is putting her own touch on country music. Though she didn’t grow up with southern roots, she planted herself in them after moving to Bentonville, AR at the age of 6 while learning every Dixie Chicks and Spice Girl song she could.
Taylor moved to Nashville, TN to attend Belmont University and study songwriting. While at Belmont, she became the first winner of the Grammy U #SongwriterShowdown. This landed her the opening slot at the Nashville Grammy Block Party alongside Meghan Trainor, Hunter Hayes, and Lee Ann Womack.
In May of 2018, Taylor released her debut EP “No Hard Feelings” and gained the attention of popular music outlets such as Billboard. Alongside the music, Edwards has a savvy social media and branding instinct that’s set her apart from a lot of new acts coming out of Nashville. Her latest single "Mean To Me" racked up over 320K views on TikTok, growing her following to over 20K on the platform in just a few days. She has opened for acts like Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Walker Hayes, and LANCO and can't wait to be back on the road. Taylor is currently working on her second EP expected to be out fall of 2021 titled "Born in July".
